Registrars attending the conference are invited to join this popular informal networking event. Reconnect with colleagues and meet new contacts in the relaxed and welcoming setting of the historic and renowned Duke of Marlborough Hotel, located on the Russell waterfront. Travel to and from Russell via a short ferry ride from Paihia and take in stunning coastal scenery along the way. Light snacks will be provided, and drinks can be purchased at the bar.

Our opening social event will be held at the close of sessions on day one, in the Waitaha Events Centre exhibition space, overlooking the Paihia waterfront. It’s an ideal way to wrap up the day - reflect on key insights with colleagues and build new connections. Canapés and beverages will be served.

Arohaina te reo: reka te kai, reka te kōrero. Come and join Whaea Moe Milne, Tui Taurua and Dr Hinemoa Elder in learning some simple words and phrases in Te Reo Māori, with your breakfast. An easy, relaxed, fun way to start your conference days, adding to your existing knowledge and providing ideas if you are feel you are a beginner. He rongoā tō tātou reo. Our language is also a medicine. As doctors working in Aotearoa, we know the importance of Te Reo Māori, let's grow our confidence in speaking this beautiful language from our whenua.
