Dr Marshall Watson

Dr Marshall Watson is a Noongar man from the Southwest of Western Australia. He lives and works in Adelaide South Australia. Marshall is Child and Adolescent Forensic psychiatrist, however currently working in Emergency Psychiatry at Flinders Medical Centre in South Australia. He is the current chair of the RANZCP Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mental health subcommittee and co-chair of the RANZCP RAP steering group. His experience and expertise relate to child and adolescent forensic psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, indigenous mental health, cultural safety in mental health services and research. Dr Watson is involved in various research projects that encompass themes of social an emotional wellbeing for first nations young people and cultural safety within mainstream services.
