Scholarly Project Abstracts

The Organising Committee invites RANZCP registrars currently undertaking a Scholarly Project and/or Registrar Research to submit an abstract of their original work for consideration for oral or poster presentation at the RANZCP 2026 New Zealand Conference.

Oral and Poster Abstract Deadline: 17 July 2026
Please note: abstracts submitted beyond the closing deadline (for whatever reason) will not be accepted.


Scholarly project presentation information

  • Oral talks will be 10 minutes long: 8 minutes presentation and 2 minutes Q&A.
  • Scholarly projects in progress will be considered for presentation.
  • When submitting your abstract, under presenter category, select "Registrar Scholarly Project".

Abstract submission process

  1. Download the submission template
    Download the abstract submission template and prepare your abstract(s).
  2. Save your abstract file
    Save each abstract as a separate .doc or .docx file in an easily accessible location on your computer.
  3. Prepare the required information
    Before accessing the abstract submission portal, please have the following information ready for each submission:
    • Abstract title
    • Presentation type (oral, poster or symposium)
    • Authors and their affiliations
    • Short biography of the presenting author(s)
    • Check prize eligibility
    • Any specific audio-visual requirements
    • Abstract document for upload
  4. Review the terms and conditions
    Ensure you have read and understood the terms and conditions associated with pre-conference workshop abstract submission.
  5. Access the abstract submission portal
    Open the abstract submission portal and register using your email address. Create a password and follow the submission instructions.
  6. Submit your abstract(s)
    You may upload multiple submissions using the same login.
  7. View or add submissions before the deadline
    Until submissions close on 17 July 2026, you can log back into the abstract submission portal using your email address and password to:
    • View submitted abstracts
    • Upload additional abstracts
